She tells Anna of hr problems with a disastrous bank failure which effected her sister. She wants to know more about Virgil. She tells her she was lenient with her children. Harry and the girls read Edwins's poems to the children. Birdie (one of her children) Edwin's books. Chinn continues about Christmas, Harry and the girls, Tom Chinn's and other family matters.
